She apparently thought it was degrading :P She performed all scenes well, but refused to perform this one. The movie staff had to call the stand-in just for that particular scene!

Abbey I am Legend German Shepherd Dog Star

Abbey, a 3-year-old German Shepherd, was discovered in a California kennel by Steve Berens, a trainer.

Abbey will be playing alongside Will Smith in “I am Legend,” due to be released in theaters on December 14, 2007.
